This time of year comes with a bounty of flavours so closely associated with the season that it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without them! While there’s plenty of room for the seasonal classics that come out year on year, we believe it tis’ the season for experimentation: mixing classic Christmas flavours to create new recipes, which is what we love doing at the Jones Distillery.
From winter citrus flavours and spices to seasonal fruit flavours, there are endless possibilities for creation with our Revelstoke Gins and Mr Jone’s Vodka. Here is a selection of our favourites that bring a festive feeling to our taste buds:
Triple Flip by @Tenderpours
Rich creamy raspberries and blackberries with nutmeg followed by sweet vanilla blueberry undertones, this recipe truly captures the flavour of winter berries combined with the sweetness of Christmas spices to create a mouth-watering flavour.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Revelstoke Bathtub Gin No. 8 (Mixed Berry)
- 5 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 oz Heavy Cream
- 1 Whole Egg (it may sound strange, but trust us, it works)
- 1 Drop of Vanilla Extract
- 2 Muddled Raspberries
- Blackberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Nutmeg for garnish
Method: Shake
Garnish with blackberry, raspberry, blueberry and nutmeg

Spiced Apple Fizz
One of our favourites created by our head distiller, Megan, the Spiced Apple Fizz is crisp and flavoursome. The spiced ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg tones really compliment the apple to create a drink that tastes more like Christmas with every sip.
Ingredients:
- 1.5oz Mr Jones Vodka
- 3oz real apple cider
- Splash of ginger beer
- Shake of ground nutmeg
- Garnish with cinnamon stick
Method: Add all ingredients into a glass with ice, garnish with cinnamon sticks.
The North by @Tenderpours
Nothing screams Christmas more than the sweet citrus notes of orange combined with a spicy nutty finish. The bright juniper combined with intense orange notes in this drink is nothing less than delicious.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Revelstoke Premium Gin No. 1
- 1 oz Mandarine Napoleon
- 1 oz Toasted Sesame Cashew Orgeat
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Egg White
- 2 Drops Smoked Peppercorn Tincture
- Orange Zest
Method: Dry / Wet Shake
Garnish with orange zest.
