JUNE UPDATE: New Events & Big Wins

It’s been a while! There’s a lot to catch up on. We’ve been super busy the last few months not only turning out batches of our now multiple award-winning (more on that later) gin and vodka but creating a unique gin-centred experience.

 

Get Your Gin On

Last month, we launched the Canadian Gin Guild with an inaugural event on Mother’s Day. We’re so excited to offer you the opportunity to hear about gin’s dark origins, learn about the botanicals and process that go into its creation, and come up with a gin creation of your very own. We’re also offering a Botanical Basics experience and regularly scheduled tours and tastings throughout the summer. Our Create Your Own Gin event is the very first of its kind in Canada so we’re especially pumped for that! A Big Win

Another big reason to celebrate: after Mr. Jones vodka took home the bronze for taste in the international SIP Awards last year, we can now brag that every single product we offer is an award winner. 2019 brought us eight SIP Awards for our Gin No. 1, Mr. Jones vodka and Go Big or Go Gnome, our winter alcoholic botanical cordial.

Cocktails of the Month

This month, our head distiller Megan had a couple of her cocktail creations featured in the Revelstoke Mountaineer.

 

Grapefruit G&T

1.5 oz Gin No.1
1/2 oz St. Germain

Squeeze of 1/2 a grapefruit

Grapefruit wheel garnish

 

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice, strain into glass with fresh ice, garnish with grapefruit wheel.

 

Cucumber & Mint Refresher

1.5 oz Mr. Jones vodka
1.2 oz St. Germain

Squeeze of 1/2 lime

3 mint leaves

3 slices of cucumber

Cucumber & mint garnish

 

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice, strain into glass with fresh ice, garnish with fresh mint and cucumber slices.
